First time in FIFA history Indian Music composer duo , SALIM and Sulaiman merchant have been invited by the organising committee to compose the anthem for the upcoming mega event to be held in South Africa between June 11 and July 11.

Although Indian football team have been waiting for a long time to participate in the Prestigious FIFA world cup, but there is something for India football and music fans to cheer.

According to the sources they will be accompanied by the world famous R&B artist Loyiso Vincent Bala, who is Nelson Mandela's favourite artist, and Kenyan singer Eric Waninaner. The music composer brothers have composed some of the most hit tracks of bollywood movies like Kurbaan . Their most hit track chak de has set young blood pulsating and has become an anthem for Indian sports.Their latest feat has put Indian music on world chart.

2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony Latest News Updated

One of the Most exciting events is coming in 10^th June 2010, the opening ceremony for the FIFA World Cup 2010. Johannesburg’s southwest Soweto, Soccer City Stadium will host the opening ceremony, and this is only a stone’s throw from one of the country’s football crazy townships.
