Hercules Alicante are another of those clubs that I can't help but like - if only for the name!They've spent most of their history in Segunda A but most decades have made an short-lived appearance in the Primera Liga.Hércules' last moment of glory was in the 1995-96 season, when they managed to beat Barça twice and Real Madrid ended up winning the title.
Córdoba CF is not so famous - the club's homepage only gives a very brief history until 1985.I know that the club was founded in 1954 and have spent 22 seasons in Segunda A, 20 seasons in Segunda B and 4 in Tercera. The club's best period was in the sixties and early seventies, when they spent eight seasons in Primera. They were promoted from Segunda B at the end of the 2008-07 season and managed to stay up last season. If anyone knows where I can find information to improve this page, please get in touch.
